Requirement: Website, tone of voice and logo

The challenge

Mitacron is a consultancy specialising in OSIsoft PI products – an industry-leading suite of applications used by industries with large, complex manufacturing processes such as Oil and Gas, and Water industries.

The client was concerned about lack of visibility in the marketplace and wanted existing clients to understand the full potential and therefore business benefit of using the PI system in the most effective manner.

Given that the service offering is dynamic and enabling, the current site felt cold through the colourways and very one-dimensional and static. The navigation needed improving, with clearer information about the services, training, industries served and two free initiatives. There was also inconsistency in the photography style.

The solution

The navigation and copy style were revamped to reflect the brand more strongly and be more informative and engaging.

We selected a clean, modern typeface along with a spacious and minimal design structure, and cohesive photography, that allowed the complex copy subjects to breathe for an inviting reading experience for the user.

We developed a new icon set for the six core service sectors for clear visual signposting so that users can easily pinpoint and navigate to relevant sectors.

Mitacron’s corporate logo and colour palettes were also revised to reflect a fresher and more dynamic approach.
